Education
We are so excited to have Dan on board with us at SIX MHA taking on all things education. Dan is a confident, heart-felt, eloquent speaker who inspires admiration and respect in his audience for all that he has overcome and gone on to achieve.

Dan will be using his armory of skills, in many aspects of SIX MHA's ongoing, daily support for their clients and in turn their employees.

Dan Biddle is the worst injured survivor of the 7/7 terror attacks in London 2005. As a result of the bombing, he lost both legs, an eye, his spleen and had a whole catalogue of other life threatening injuries.

When Dan realised things would never be the same again – that he would never work as a Projects Manager again, he began to try and turn things around from his hospital bed. During his 52 week stay in hospital in which he underwent 70 operations, he became a qualified Consultant through the NRAC with a growing realisation that the world was not geared up for a disabled person.

Dan constantly demonstrates that despite horrendous circumstances, it does not have to be the end.

Having Dan on board at SIX MHA, speaking with those of you going through your own personal issues, knowing what he has gone through himself, is an extremely valuable tool for your recovery.
Daniel Biddle - Education Lead

Once your programme has been agreed, our education department at SIX MHA will work alongside you, our client, to deliver the education programme to your team.

We have 20+ years experience with mental health and addiction services so it is safe to say we have seen it all and know that no two businesses present the same issues nor need the same attention.

This is why we tailor all aspects of our seminars, work shops and talks to your business and your employees. We focus on your team as individual people, not just numbers and spreadsheets.

Our seminars consist of three elements: Information and Training; Participant Reflection & Application; and Personal Experience. Each seminar will be given by one of our amazing speakers - who all come with a wealth of knowledge and experience - to coin a phrase, they have seen it , done it and got several T-shirts.

Many of us at SIX MHA have dealt with our own mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma and addiction so we know, and can relate to, what members of your team may be going through.
We know that with a solid education on the subject, your staff will feel more personally valued. They will also be reassured that, if and when they reach out for help, not only are we there but also their needs will be handled anonymously and with the utmost sensitivity.
Programmes tailored to fit
YOUR TEAM
SIX MHA acknowledges that the workplace is stressful - whether employees are working remotely, traveling, or office based - especially as we are still dealing with the repercussions of COVID-19.

We firmly believe that the mental well-being of individuals directly influences the overall health of the organisation, and vice versa.
To address this, SIX MHA will appoint a Mental Health Specialist to collaborate with you in designing a curriculum tailored for your employees, aligning the programme with your organisational culture.
The programme aims to enhance both the collective and individual understanding of mental health, whilst also raising awareness of the available support, resources and recovery pathways for those in need.
